The first steps may be the easy wins, but looking at supply chains many businesses have complex mechanisms to work through to make progress.

One example given is supermarket Iceland’s progress on direct emissions. They have already cut their carbon footprint by 74% since 2011, but the harder work involves looking back at their supply chain.
